Fresh organic Sage is most often associated with wonderful Thanksgiving dishes. I wanted to come up with a different fun recipe using Sage to reap its many health benefits.
Sage is a member the of mint family. It is loaded with Vitamin A & C and aids in the digestive process. Sage is known to strengthen the immune system and aid in both short and long term memory. An increase in memory made me want to get started!
My recipe began with fresh raspberries, fresh Sage leaves and agave nectar. Adding water, all ingredients soaked together for 2 hours to bring out the flavors. The end result was a delicious, refreshing tea. I served it over ice garnished with Sage leaves.
