November is here and we all want to continue eating healthy through the holidays. Comforting food is wonderful, but a healthy delicous salad with an herb vinaigrette is always welcome at the table.
I love fall salads with fruit and nuts. A nice blend of mixed greens or a bed of romaine is the perfect base for an herb dressing. Fresh sage worked well in this recipe with olive oil, champagne vinegar and a touch of mustard.
It may be getting cold out, but there's always room for an organic fresh herb on your kitchen counter to take your recipes to the next level.
