As we prepare for our Memorial Day gatherings, try this healthy patriotic salad. Quinoa is one of my favorite ancient grains. It is gluten free and is considered one of nature's perfect foods.
Add some blueberries, strawberries, a touch of olive oil and orange juice to liven this salad. This salad is vegan and works well perfect for a picnic.
This Memorial Day take a moment to remember those who sacrificed for us. Although Memorial Day is dedicated to those who have passed, it is also fitting to remember our veterans who have served for our country. Thanks to all the Veterans out there!
